Look: Cute and Sweet

This is a look that I did on my friend during our photoshoot. The photographer requested that I do a cute and sexy look. I'll be posting the latter next time. :) It's my first time, so it's kinda nerve-racking, but I'm glad it turned out fine and they were pleased with the outcome.

Now for the official photos/ :)

They look so cute, right? :) The concept of this shoot is Nerdy Couple. :P

Look: Green Smokey Eye

This is my first take on a smokey eye, not really sure if it passed as a smokey look. I had a hard time contouring my crease, since I have slightly hooded lids and I have small eyes to work with. Nonetheless, I still love making up some looks! :)

I used false lashes and made an exaggerated wing to make the eyes more dramatic. Perfect for night outs, parties or clubbings. You can wear this during the day if you took off the lashes or replace it with a natural-looking one and lessen the amount of liner used. :)

Products Used:

Eyes:
Ever Bilena 24 Advance Eyeshadow Palette
Ever Bilena Dip Liner in Black
Wet N Wild Brow Kit
Wet N Wild Lash Intense Mascara
Drugstore Falsies
Skinfood Dark circle Concealer Cream
Nichido Mineral Kohl Liner in Onyx

Face:
ELF Pressed Powder in Ivory and Honey()as bronzer
Wet N Wild Effortless Kit
Ever Bilena Blush in Honest and Raisin

Lips:
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauve
Wet N Wild Lipstick in Peach Gold
Maybelline Extreme Moisture Lipstick in Nude Blush (as lip gloss since I find it very glossy or moisturizing LOL. I'm weird like that)

I initially was trying out this look and I liked it, so I decided to post it. I only did my makeup on one side of the face. I just put on powder because I felt lazy. LOL. That's about it, guys! 'Till then. :)

Katy Perry's E.T. Makeup Look

This is probably the most difficult look that I made so far. LOL. I've been wanting to make this ever since I saw her teaser photo in E.T. I actually forgot to extend the brown shadow up to my nose bridge, that's why I felt like there was something lacking. My bad. >.<

I guess this is my version of a lesser warrior look. Haha. The highlights of this look are:

  • Long slanted brows. Slanted, not curvy or arched

  • Elongated cat eyes, with cut crease for the lids

  • White animal prints on the eye area and brown for the forehead and cheek area

  • Brown lips

  • Contouring/bronzing is optional :)

Products used:

Eyes:
Wet N Wild Brow Kit
Ever Bilena Advanced 24 Eyeshadow Palette
ELF Quad in Butternut
Fashion 21 White Eye Pencil
Wet N Wild Gel Liner
Ever Bilena Dip Liner in Black
Drugstore Falsies
Skinfood Dark circle Concealer Cream

Face:
The Face Shop Oil Control Pre Makeup
Nichido True Colors Foundation in Stay Light
NYC Translucent Powder
Eastgirl Brown Eyeliner
Ever Bilena Blush in Earth (as bronzer)

Lips:
Estee Lauder Lipliner in Spice
Avon Lip Radiance in Rose Foil

Hope this was helpful! :)

Bold Eyes and Nude Lips

This is actually my first time creating a look like this. This randomly popped in my head while I'm attending a mass. LOL.

This look is just basic blue and purple shadow with winged style. I also lined my eyes with purple eye liner and applied false eyelashes, which I love especially the stones. A bold makeup is nothing without dramatic lashes to pair it with, IMO.

I only dusted my face with light powder foundating because I don't feel like wearing too much makeup on and didn't use a concealer(Oops!). Sorry for the crappy t-shirt. I'm just using my ragged homie shirt. :P

Basically, I sported heavy eye makeup, light eyebrows, lips and blush since the eyes are the main focus. Honestly, I'm not really satisfied with this look. It doesn't look as vibrant as I want, or maybe because the camera washed the colors off. I'll be creating another one soon so I hope I'll improve. ;)

Products used:

Eyes:
Wet N Wild Brow Kit
ELF All Over Cover Stick in Apricot Beige
Nichido GNO Liner in Vivid Turqoise and Deep Plum
Ever Bilena Advanced 24 Eyeshadow Palette
Ever Bilena Liquid Liner
Wet N Wild Lash Intense Mascara
Drugstore False eyelashes

Face:
Simply Pretty Dual Powder Foundation
Ever Bilena Blush in Raisin

Lips:
Ever Bilena Lipstick in Mauvey
Avon Lip gloss in Strawberry Shine

On another note, did you have a meaningful Holy Week, everyone? I did. Well, sort of. :)

Tricia: Everyday Look

My everyday make up produvts are usually powder foundation, concealer, blush, mascara and of course, lipstick! I usually go for loud pinks and reds on daytime plus tame to no eye make up. For a night out with friends, I usually wear smokey eyes and a sheer pink or mauve lipstick.
I don't do anything with my eyebrows because 1) I don't know what to do with it and 2) Read #1. ;)

As for the blush, I don't really like wearing very pink blush because I am not really that fair so I usually go for plum, coral and bronze. And when I go out at night, I always put on a blush with silky finish. I highlight the upper part of my (huuuge) cheekbones, nose chin and forehead for a dewy look. :)

On this look:

Myra E Tinted moisturizer in Ivory mixed with a little beige
Mac Pro-preffered Powder Foundation
Ellianto Concealer
Avon Supershock Mascarra
Fanny Serano Blush in Cinnamon Stick
Wet n Wild Silk Finish
Nyx lipstick in Lousiana

Currently loving to wear the following products everyday:

Avon Supershock Mascarra
Maybelline Powder Foundation
Wet n Wild Silk Finish
Nyx lipstick in Lousiana
Maybelline lipstick in Make Me Pink

Senyth: Everyday Look

I like my everyday look to be neutral because I don't want people to stare at my crazy makeup everyday. You want it to look as natural as possible. I want play my makeup down because I really don't want to wear a loud makeup look everyday, especially on day time. XD

Products used:
Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream #2
Ever Bilena Studio Finish Stick Foundation in Creme
NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder in Translucent
Wet N Wild Brow Kit in Ash Brown
ELF Quad in Butternut
Penshoppe Pop Beauty Eyeliner
Wet N Wild Lash Intense Mascara in Black
Ever Bilena blush in Raisin
Ever Bilena Matte Lisptick in Mauvey

Mauvey and Off beat pink are currently my favorite lipsticks as of the moment. :)

Looks: Cheap Yet Chic

This is just a simple look I did using the products I recently bought. ^-^ I fell in love with most of them and I'm glad they are worth my money. And take note that they're relatively cheap. Who says one has to buy expensive products just to come up with a made up look? :)

Yep, I'm contented. Here are the products I used:

Face:
Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish Stick Foundation in Creme
Avon Simply Pretty Dual Powder Foundation in Light Beige
NYC Cover Stick Green Concealer
Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream #2
ELF Natural Radiance Blusher in Glow

Eyes/Eyebrows:
Wet N Wild Ultimate Brow Kit in Ash Brown
ELF Brightening Eyeshadow Quad in Butternut
Wet N Wild Lash Intense Mascara in Black
Penshoppe Pop Beauty Eye Pencil in Black Coffee

Lips:
Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Peach Gold Pearl

Hello 2011!

Hi, guys! Did you enjoy last night's New Year Eve? I did. :) And slept pretty late. O_o I hope this new year will be a more fruitful year than last year for all of us. I'm feeling quite positive right now; a pretty good way to start the year. :)

Here's what I had for my eye makeup last night. I'm using 2 of my Ever Bilena palettes in this look and I'm pretty impressed with the quality and lasting power of the eyeshadows. Will do a review soon after I torture test it. ;)

It's just a simple purple and green look. The purple has more reddish/pinkish tones than blue though. My mom said that purple and green are the colors for 2011 so I decided to just combine those colors in. My camera's battery just died after taking lots of pictures last night, lucky I was able to take a very few pictures of my eye makeup before hitting the sack.

Have a happy and bountiful new year, everyone! :)

Haul and Frosty Blue Look

Hi, Guys! So this is our official makeup and beauty blog. This is my first having a blog like this, but I guess Tricia isn't her first time. ^_^ I'm so excited and happy we finally put this one up. Yay!

I went shopping with my mom and cousin a few days ago, and got these items, which I really love. I really don't like burning that much on makeup and other related stuffs, so these items are, of course, cheap. :)

Products bought:
Casino Ethyl Alcohol(I practically bring this everywhere because I don't like using hand sanitizer. I find them sticky LOL)
Cotton balls
Q tips
Skin White face cream powder
St. Ives Apricot Scrub(It's actually my first time using this. So far so good. I will make a review after some time)
Clean and Clear oil-free
Eyebrow razor
Powder brush
Falsies
Eyelash glue
Ever Bilena Advanced Eyeshadow 24 Palette
ELF eyeshadow brush and blending brush
Marionnaud pointed eyeshadow brush
Nichido GNO eyeliner in vivid turqiose and deep plum

I used to buy Celeteque Moisturizer, but didn't find one when we were in the supermarket. LOL. I've been using Clean and Clear products for like 5 years now so the new moisturizer would do good. I don't use much because I have oily skin but we need to moisturize our skin especially before putting makeup.

Here is the look that I came up with using the products mentioned above. Pardon the random stray hairs and my kinda messy eyebrows. I actually forgot to curl my right lashes, so I guess it's a beauty crime? LOL.

Products that I used:

That's it, guys! Sorry for the picspam or so to say. Happy Holidays! :)
