Human Heart Nature's Mineral Make Up Line

Having a sensitive skin sucks because it limits me from choosing products in a blur. I have to pick up stuff which suit my skin best, otherwise, I'll suffer. Thank God for mineral make up, I don't have to worry if I break out because mineral make ups are gentle to the skin. What I am more grateful for because my ever trusted brand, Human Heart Nature, finally launched their (almost full) mineral make up line which consists of powder, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick and lip gloss. I bought one for each and will probably do reviews as well.

Moving on, here's a run-through of each product in photos.

Human Heart Nature Mineral Powder in Orient Pearl. Available in four different shades, just choose the one that matches your skintone best---Island Shell, Sand Dollar, Boracay Bronze and Orient Pearl. Each powder costs PhP295.

Human Heart Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Sweet Innocence. They also have this in Enchanting Evening. I chose Sweet Innocence because the palette is not too loud for day make up. And I'm putting make up on according to my environment. I don't want my students to think I'll go to a night party somewhere while I'm teaching them. At the back of the box, they have an illustration on how to apply it. That's very handy (for me especially because I'm a noob at this). Each palette is PhP225.

Human Heart Nature Mineral Blush in Rosy Cheeks. Also available in Petal Bloom, Tropical Rose and Pink Quartz for PhP175 each. Best if you want to have just the right amount of flush on your cheeks.

Human Heart Nature Hydrating Mineral Lipstick in First Kiss. Sorry about the quality of photo. I'll post a review on this when I get their red shade, Lucky in Love, for comparison. A tube costs PhP195 and comes in different shades: Pink Skies, Coral Kiss, Sweet Nectar, Earth Angel, Lucky in Love.

Human Heart Nature Mineral Lip Gloss in Pink Hibiscus. This is HHN's first time to release lip glosses to add in their mineral make up line. Available in two other shades: Island Berry and Coral Beach, each costing PhP225.

Looking at those figures you'll see how affordable HHN's mineral make ups are, without sacrificing the quality. Head over at Human Heart Nature's website to order yours, too. Or at their Facebook Page to know where you can get yours in their dealers near you.

Super Haul!

This is a collective haul I had for the past month and most items I got are on S-A-L-E! :P This post has a lot of pictures, just so you know and this will be a long post, I guess. Haha. I called it "super" because I bought a lot of items that I'm happy with! ^-^

I got these face products from Ever Bilena in the Mousse collection, which is on sale for Php 99 each, including their blushes. I think the sale started last month and it'll end this month, if what the Sales Assistant told me was right. On the right is the foundation. It's kinda pinkish, but it blends well on my skin. My shade is Acorn. On the left side is their concealer, which is good for the undereye circles and dark spots. I got the one in Pure Beige.

You guys know how much I love bright eye makeup and of course, my brows. So I got this famous Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk, which works well as a base, by the way. I also bought their Cake Powder and Auto Eyebrow pencil, which is orangey when in fact I bought the shade Taupe. I'm not impressed with these which is a bummer. -.- I'd rather stick with my Wet N Wild brow kit.

Onto the lips! Just my basic needs, lip tint, lip gloss and of course, my lip balm. I haven't been wearing any kind of lip product since I had allergies, though. But you know what's the best part of this haul?

TADAAA!! I was browsing absent-mindedly through my News Feeds in Facebook when I saw these pictures under the Album "Sale Items". It rang loudly in my head that I had to see the photos and contacted the seller immediately. HAHA. Those two only cost me Php 1,600.00 when I would have paid Php 2,750.00 if they weren't on sale. :P I've been wanting a palette and a brush set, but kept holding back because of the hefty price tag they carry. I found the matte eyeshadows a bit disappointing though because they're not as pigmented as they appear. I actually found them powdery even with a base. The seller still has some products on sale. You can buy her items here if you want. :)

I bought these items as a set off eBay for the reason that I wanted to try the BB cream more before I go and buy the full-sized one. I got this in #1 Light Beige, which is a few shades lighter than my skin tone but I don't mind since I only apply a small amount on problem areas and it makes me skin brighter! I also didn't break out even after using it for almost a month. A little goes a long way, and yep, I still didn't run out of it until now. Curious about the eye pencil and lip tint? They're just "meh". I can live without them.

I normally don't buy stuffs like these, but when I saw the "Buy one and pay one for 1 Peso", which rings a "Buy 1, Take One" bell for me, I rushed to find a willing partner. Haha. Luckily, one of my College friends wanted to buy this as well, so we got a deal! ^_^ Good vibes, good vibes! I bought this set to practice with since I had this crazy ambition to be a freelance makeup artist. LOL.

These are the only stuffs that I bought for my skin. LOL. I use the Sun flower Beauty Oil as a moisturizer and I didn't break out so far. I hope not because I've been struggling to find a moisturizer that won't give me red bumps every morning. My skin is really picky because I also get itchy when the lotion I use isn't something it likes and Skin White is the only one that won't give me bumps or itch. I'm not sure if it's whitening properties do work, but I'm happy it has SPF 20. :) I use either the blue or this one. The rest are Venus & Mars products, which I haven't used yet. I'd use them for my dark areas, like elbows and knees. :)

I hope I didn't bore you and thanks for sticking with me till the end of this post. Very Harry Potter much, eh? Random fact: I can't express how much I love Harry Potter and I've been loving the series for 8 years or so already. :D

Till next time!

Nichido Eyeshadow Review + Marionnaud N37 Eyeshadow Brush

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this. The two browns are quite pigmented especially the darkest one (for obvious reasons) while the white-purple-ish one in the middle barely shows up. It's pretty decent for a 168-peso trio palette, though but I wish they were a bit more pigmented.

Pros:
- I love the packaging. Very sleek (trio). I can just throw it in my pouch.
- Relatively cheap.

Cons:
- Has lots of fall outs.
- Not very pigmented.

Will I buy it again?
- NO. I can live without it.

I really want a black eyeshadow and when I swatched this in the drugstore, I fell in love with it. But for some weird reason, when I got home and swatched it again, it wasn't as pigmented. It can be built up, though. And even though it looks super gliterry in the photo, it isn't when you put it on.

Swatch: Trio Palette and Single Soft Black Eyeshadow

Pros and Cons the same with the trio palette above. And I'd still say NO if you ask me if I would repurchase.

This is probably the only thing I am happy about among this small collection of purchases. It's a 59php eyeshadow brush which I use for blending my eyeshadow. I really love Marionnaud brushes because they're very dense and cheap. If you're looking for good and cheap brushes, definitely check out this brand. Brushes are sold separately and I wouldn't recommend getting the set because the brushes in the set are not as dense / soft as the ones sold individually.

Pros:
- DENSE. REALLY.
- Very cheap.
- Works pretty well.

Cons:
- The type of brushes is very limited.

P.S.
Sorry for the low quality of the photos. I don't know why they're showing up like that. :(

Shawill 12 color cream eyeshadow palette

Investing on make ups can be so expensive especially if you want high end popular brands. So while strolling around Robinson’s (Alabang) department store, I saw a display of Shawill makeup products. If I’m not mistaken, it’s just a new brand line (or maybe just new to me). It has a wide range of inexpensive cosmetic products. At first, I have doubts about the product quality because they were really inexpensive compared to other drugstore cosmetics, although the packaging are really good. I bought the 12 color cream eyeshadow palette to try out.
I’ve already used it twice/thrice already and I’m going to give my review for this product.

Pros:
• Cute packaging. very enticing.
• Long mirror, you could see both your eyes although it’s slim.
• Inexpensive price! Php148 for 12 eyeshadows. That’s Php12 for each one.
• Pretty pigmented.
• Different palettes to choose from. I chose this colorful set.
• Also available in 6e/s palettes.
• Very shimmery and blendable.
• Good that there’s black and white in this palette. Easy to match with other shades.
• Expires on 2017! What? It’s at the bottom of the palette. See for yourself.

Cons:
• On its first use, it is very glittery! But, it turns out it is only the top layer with glitter. Once you get to the eyeshadow it’s all nicely frost-finished. (What I saw on the brand display)
• Quite hard to pick by a brush.
• The cover says it’s a 12 color cream eyeshadow but it’s clearly powder.
• Bit hard to remove the glitters after washing my face. But you could try using a makeup remover that may/should work.
• -1 for the grammatical errors on packaging. (packaged in China but made in Italy)

Sorry for the picture. The eyeshadow wasn’t so clear mainly because I used white and silver/cream shade plus the camera flash. Anyway, another good thing, It stayed longer than I expected. It’s also good to wear at night.
Will I repurchase?

If need be, yes. But maybe I would try other palettes, like neutral or dark shades. I would also like to try their 6e/s palettes. I like this colorful palette so far (though I haven’t used the other shades yet). This one shows promise. For its price range and quality, I can say it’s a good buy. :)
